WHC, I don't know what it is, but yes, the foot rest folds out
So if that's Selig..? But I wonder who the designer is. I'm looking into it now.
I"m going to look at the white one tomorrow morning. Just what I need! Another chair!
Here's a Dux one that's similar but without the folding leg rest:

I've sold
I've sold stuff that I knew undervalued - sometimes just to get rid of it. Hell, I've put stuff (eames chairs included) on the sidewalk for free if I really needed to lighten my load. It's a balancing act - what you put in with storage/hauling/refurbishing vs. the amount of payoff. Sometimes peeking out your window and watching broke hipsters flip out about finding an Eames shell free is enough of a payoff.
As to reselling, I've upped the price of things I have put on CL, but only after I put work in. I've done everything from complete reupholstery jobs and rebracing (plycraft), to polishing chrome & fibreglas, to sanding and refinishing wood. Its a lot of work and I do expect some reward for that.
And Dashes, the Plycraft chairs are pretty sturdy - mine has survived two sets of male roommates and a cat, with only one button broken - (by me, of all people)
