Plycraft Lounge Chair Odd Color Combination

Hi new to the forum and wondering if anyone has every seen a plycraft lounge chair in light pine with light gray leather? I picked one up for $200 off craigslist and have never seen this color combination. Has anyone else? It looks all original and still has the plycraft labels on both chair and ottoman.

Maybe reupholstered?
I've seen a white Plycraft before, but this one below was reupholstered

Probably reupholstered. And I don't think they ever used pine veneer plywood. The wood was probably stripped and refinished when the chair was reupholstered. They used a tinted varnish on the wood to disguise the variations in the veneer, which wasn't matched well at all. Nowadays that look is considered interesting by many but back then it wasn't, I guess. (I have stripped a few and I think they look way better with just a clear finish.)
I want to redo one in red leather but I'm too chicken. (Meaning, I'd probably get tired of it within a year, and maybe no one else would want it either.)
