Pretty hideous thing I picked up at a yardsale yesterday, but in mint condition.
Any idea by whom and when designed?

Hi Whitespike - knowing myself, I'll love this chair in a few years.... besides, am a collector of chairs, not only the ones I instantaneously respond positively to. This one is actually quite nice looking compared to some other stuff I have in storage.....

Russell Spanner, manufactured in Canada in the 1950's. A great chair IMO.
