Please help me identify this sideboard

I bought an Italian-style lacquered sideboard with a monochrome inlay (wood patterns). I am quite sure, there used to be a black glass plate on the top. The measurements: 215,5x90x45 cm.
Does it seems familiar to anyone? Could you help me ID the designer, the manufacturer or something?

Although the ebay seller stated it originally had a glass top, I would expect it to have been marble.

I can imagine the marble top, but why do you think? Do you know details about manufacturer's town or period?

It's not easy to find information on a lot of Italian design, as it's not as well documented. I've had similar sideboards that have always had marble tops.
