Here is a chair I just came across and picked up without knowing anything about it other than I thought it looked cool and the woman I bought it from said that her late husband had it and she thought it was from around 1970 when he was stationed in Europe in the Air Force. I can't find any markings other than on the "Made in Denmark" Fagas straps. I had a good feeling about it because she also let me buy some Koefoelds "Eva" chairs and a really cool Cado system from her.
Thanks for any insight!

What timber is it produced from Earo? It looks like it could be a stained beech or walnut.

I think it's walnut. Also,...
I think it's walnut. Also, I've been told that it's Kofod-Larsen and pretty rare. Anyone know whether this is true?

My immediate thought was Kofod Larsen as well but I can't find any solid reliable back up to this attribution.

I believe it is...
I believe it is Kofod-Larsen. The chair appears in this ad, and while the text is hard to read, I can make out the words "The Collected Selig Works of Ib Kofod Larsen made, finished, and imported from Denmark."

Thanks, everyone!
Thanks, everyone!
I found a bigger scan of the ad on Flickr. That's definitely the same chair on the left. My guess as to why there's no Selig badge on the chair is that because it was purchased in Denmark, it therefore is not "Imported by Selig."
