Hello all,

I would like assistance to hep I.D. the maker of this lamp.

I have done a lot of research and I have found nothing, so I have come here to the boards to get help. Three pictures are provided, and here are some finer details about the piece:

a.
There are no markings of any kind. The 3 light sockets are not Leviton and have no markings. They are ceramic.
b.
Inside there is a glass ring held in place by three drop wires for reasons unknown as this is not visible when the bottom shade is attached.
c.
The top of the lamp is brass with an enamel plated steel sheet that diffuses the light up onto the ceiling.
d.
The top part of the shade is made from a fabric type of material that is over flexible board - much like the shades you see these days. It is rimed with not a tough paper rim, but a flexible rubber type of rim.
e.
The shade at the bottom is fanned plastic, accordion like.

The whole shade is about 22 inches wide.

Any help would be appreciated.

- A.S.

Oh man...
I was just slogging through 1stdibs myself and thought I would come back and check the boards - and bingo!
Thank you for the fast-track.
His one has a different top - but everything else is the same. I agree with you - Thurston designed this? I would need that verified as this would be a curve-ball for Thurston though...not his style.

I am
looking at a Lightolier floor lamp as we speak and the works look spot on.

Not quite...
I will call this a successful I.D. because yes, that lamp on 1stdibs is the same with the exception of the top shade portion being fabric on mine - and walnut slats on the 1stdibs item.
I found on ebay right now, the same lamp, but this time it is just like the 1stdibs item, but has a different brass mounting on the top - and I will be honest and say the mount on ebay takes away from the Modernistic aspect of it. This lamp needs the lines of the thinner brass top mounting to pull off being MMC.
