Can someone out there please help identifying this fruit basket? I would like to know the designer, age, manufacturer? Does it still available for purchase? Is it from Eames era? I have came across reading it in many magazines and books but never told who was the designer. Thanks for all your help...

This fruit basket design could be compared to Franck Gehry's famaous HAT TRICK CHAIR he designed in the very early 90 ies. I am not saying that Gehry did it, but he had probably influenced designers by that time.

it was part of the original collection of Frank Gehry for Knoll. I will try to dig upp the first poster Knoll did when the line was introduced. I have it somewhere because it was quite impressive and I generally have a hard time throwing things away...sorry re-cycling
