Hi - Just picked up this linen cupboard. I wanted to know if anyone knew whom made these. Any details appreciated.

Simon - Are there any books I could get that would assist me in knowing who had made the cupboard? I have a few items which have mostly been ID'd from here but it would be nice to get some reference books.

books are difficult
there are a line of books issued by Worldpress, Copenhagen
of which I have the first 10 editions. These were issued from 1964 onwards an are a excellent guide and referrence source.
Only problem is that you will only find them in antique bookshops and ONLY if your really lucky will you get the first ones.
Expect to pay upwards of £100 pr book
Design from Denmark is the 1.st edition
then onward they were called
design from scandinavia
Happy hunting

The hunt starts...I guess...
The hunt starts...I guess the earlier books cover the earlier years?
Question for you on the rosewood cupboard. It appears to have a satin/stained finish. Any ideas on what to clean it with? I have just started a french polishing course and am refurbing a coffee table but the table is varnished so easy to remove before polishing. The cupboard doesn't look like it is varnished as you can see small indentations in the grain. I want to clean it up but don't want to get dirt into the grain. I see from your site you restore pieces so thought I'd reach out and ask.
