There are no maker's mark on the entire unit. I was told that it might be George Nelson for Herman Miller but cannot find any info online regarding this. Any info would help, thanks.

I believe that is an early OMNI not Herman Miller
I think that is an early OMNI Designed by George Nelson.
I had one with bronzed aluminum poles and some OMNI stamped
walnut shelves.
I believe this version was quickly redesigned given its needlessly complicated
assembly details. The channeled slots, plastic shelf fasteners and clumsy brackets cried out for better design which was delivered by the Nelson office.
Your group looks to be all there which is good because finding compatible pieces is a certifiable bitch.

Similar to Omni
.. but I don't think it is.
Details are off. The shelf brackets are not the same, the cabinet pulls and hardware, even the rubber ceiling protectors don't look right. There are a few different generations of Omni, but that unit has too many differences for me to think it's Omni.
You might try looking at Rakks and ISS, both very similar to Omno and CSS, but later.

Mario, would you happen to have pictures of your wall unit? Also, do you now where I can find further info on the early Omni models?
Thanks

I have the same wall unit in...
I have the same wall unit in black. It's definitely not an OMNI as I've had one before but is fairly close. Have never been able to identify a maker.

Not OMNI
Hi All--I found one like this at an estate sale, and I was fooled into thinking it was an OMNI. There were so many versions and stylistic/structural changes to the OMNI, I figured it had to be an early version of the OMNI. It wasn't. After some research, I found that it was manufactured by Nucraft out of Grand Rapids. Based solely on the style of the brackets in the photos, yours may be, too. It looks like the poles in the photos are more rectangular, rather than perfectly square? The Nucraft poles I have are square and almost identical to OMNI, which makes me a little less sure about yours. I'm not Omniscient (wow, that was terrible.)

Nucraft poles and brackets
If the cabinets are attached to the poles by hanging them on brackets like these, I'm pretty sure it's a Nucraft unit. And the poles look very similar to Omni, except the channel. --john

Not really sure I have all the parts either here's a photo of the cabinets and poles- I also have lots of teak shelves for it.
Thanks,

Not Omni
Not Omni. My father Ken Zick was Nation Sales Manager and Vice-President of the company that made Omni. It was designed by George Nelson. Manufactured at first by Aluminum Extrusions in Charlotte Michigan. They formed a spin off company, U. S. Structural Products. My father left in 1962. I heard it was bought out by a company in Alabama. We still have it in our home, my son's office and just this weekend my brother is putting it up in his son's home. My mother named it Omni which means universal and it still is and very functional
