I just bought a July 1961 Playboy issue with the famous Designs for Living photo. I would like to display the photo, but am not sure which is the best way. If I open to the spread and frame, then the subsequent article is not readily accessible. I would prefer not to remove the photo from the magazine binding. And I don't really have a location where a lecturn display would work well.
Any ideas as to how you would display? Thanks.
(attached photo was found online, mine is still in the mail)

Magazine shelf
...Cado unit or similar angled display shelf. I would not remove it from the issue...part of its history. I actually like the cover.

The more I think about it,...
The more I think about it, the more that makes sense. I don't have a Cado unit, but do have a wall-shelving system I built, which could have an angled magazine shelf incorporated into it.
It would have been good if there were some posters made of that photo at the time. It is a classic.

So it's true ...
Well, now I'll believe it when someone says they read Playboy "for the articles".
