hello, amazing 'vintage knowledge' forum! I bought a pretty cool lounge chair on craigslist...I'm happy with it regardless of it's history, but I am curious. It looks vaguely like a Pierre Paulin design to me, but the proportions are much 'newer', skinnier, and just a bit different to my eye than Paulin designs I've seen in the past. Anyone have a clue? Is this just a B&B Italia design inspired by a vintage one? it definitely has an Italian feel to me...thanks for your help.

You're thinking of Mourgue
not Paulin.
I can only see one of your photos; hard to tell from that one whether it's genuine.

it was fake
after I looked more closely, mine was missing the metal feet and zipper detail and just wasn't as elegant...upholstery wasn't as full either. i got rid of it...back to craigslist. couldn't live with it after seeing the real thing 😉
