I am looking for information on a "pie shaped" side table. The marking on the bottom says "235-9. Precendent by Drexe. Silver Elm". The table is 19" high, side length is 20" and back widtch is 16". The design is chunky and very rounded. It is much like a Dunbar coffee table I found online by Edward Wormley.
Is anyone familiar with this table and where I could find more information and/or valuation.
THanks!
Edward Wormley
designed the Precedent Line for Drexel for only 1 year, 1947. Drexel always stamps the line and the year on the back of their pieces.
A good source for identifying American furniture is ebay under "furniture advertisement". Tons of people go through their Mom's & Grandmas's old Redbooks and Good Housekeepings, cut out single page ads and put them on ebay for 5 or 10 bucks. A great resource.
