Hiya folks

I am researching a book on Paul McCobb and am trying to find Planner and Directional catalogs to finish out my research. If anyone reading this should happen to have any that they would be willing to share please get in touch with me at:

straylight.wandering at gmail.com

If you check out my research blog you can see cover scans of those catalogs already in my research archive.

Thanks in advance

Jonathan

Just a few more to go...
I am missing 2 Planner Group catalogs that I know of.
The first is interesting to me as it contains several items entirely unique to that production year. All I have I have to go on thus far is a very small image of the interior foldout (see below) so I have some idea what items were in this catalog but no clue as to the production numbers.
The Second I have a partial copy of at low resolution and wish for a higher resolution scan which includes the entire foldout/line card
If anything else should miraculously pop up like another of the Directional Color Side Bar Pamphlets (I believe that there were at least 7 of these) I would be pleasantly surprised but knowing that the Planner Group Catalogs are out there I hope to be able to track them down.

Awesome!
I hope you'll continue to post more on your blog. I really love McCobb's work - but there seems to be a dearth of info about it.

Like your blog
I'm really hoping (asking) that you post the interiors of the catalogs as well. I'm not a dealer trying to poach your hard work - just a design addict who likes McCobb.

More to see
More blogposts are on the way.
Unfortunately the rules governing fair use for items under copyright will not allow me to publish complete catalogs on line even if I wanted to.
I intend to have the book be useable as a identification guide so as much detail as possible about each and every style will be presented there.
Short answer, get the book (once published) if you really want to learn about this stuff 🙂
Now all I have to do is finish off the research and WRITE the book...

Well get writing!
Well get to writing! And in the meantime you don't have to scan all of the catalogs - just the really interesting pieces 🙂

Still searching
Just got a slew of late period McCobb related catalogs from Paul McCobb's daughter but there are still several missing. Any help would be appreciated. I am hoping to stop research in the fall and it would be great to have these few missing links before then.
