Paul McCobb; 1952 Irwin Furniture, 9002 Leather Side Chair W/ Optional Brass Stretchers  

In 1953, Calvin Furniture acquired the production of these chairs. As a result, the brass stretchers were dropped as an option. I have not seen any other examples of this chair with this option. If you have another one, I'd love to see it.

1) It is missing one brass screw cap. Does anyone know where I could find one? I know there are other PM chairs that use the same brass.

2) Does anyone think I should do anything to the leather? The dust cover needs replacing. Should I use staples, back the nails out and replace them, or get rid of the dust cover all together?
