Hi,
Here is my first post on this site.
At the recent Uniques & Antiques auction (April 26 2011) there was a lot (#67a) listed as Paul Evans Slate & Walnut cheeseboard. I found similar items at Rago in 2009.
These look like my two Harpswell House trivets, (picture hopefully posted below). Did Evans and/or Powell design for Harpswell? Is there any link?
Thanks for your help.

Boy, that
takes me back. People that I worked with in the mid-sixties sold these in their gallery just off Cape Cod. I never had a designer's name to go with them -- but the combination of wood and slate, and clean simple design, were very appealing.
Harpswell House was in Maine, somewhere.
A miracle that paper label survived . . .
We are still in Maine
Although we have moved, we are still in Maine and continue to make a wide array of hand crafted slate product. http://www.harpswellhouse.com/signature_urns.htm is one of our new pages you can go anywhere on the site from there
