Paul Evans questions  

I just picked up a nice pair of Paul Evans Cityscape lamps in my fave thrift store. later the same day, my job position was eliminated ( f**king downsizing !) I will be allowed to use my office/PC for a few weeks as part of my severence ( big deal) so I will have convenient access to this board.

I planned on keeping the lamps but my economic situation dictates it will probably be prudent to sell.

The questions: On the chrome and burl cityscape lamps; What type of burl is it, olive burl? walnut? It seems a bit light to be burl but maybe not. I have seen a dining table in the same materials and the vendor described it as olive burl( there is a small repair necessary on one of them ).

since I will probably use ebay to sell them, how much to you think I should expect them to sell for?

The finials are of the "atomic/Jetsons" genre( please forgive that description ) - i.e. a stack of decending sized chrome rings upward on a shaft. Are they original?

any information would be appreciated. Thanks all!
