I'm remodeling my patio and redoing the landscape.   I decided to go ahead and splurge and purchase a table for the patio.   I was back and forth between the Schultz 1966 square dining table and the petal table. I am leaning towards the petal table in white.   The reason I picked the petal table is because it's round and the patio is surrounded on three sides by the glass walls of the house.  I thought not seeing corners in the table would look more appealing from different aspects of the house.   Pool will have blue tile.  Green succulents in flower beds.  There is a red rock mtn. framing the back of the patio. To save money, I thought I'd us these chairs from blu dot.  I really wanted the bertoia smaller chairs with yellow pads, but I heard they were uncomfortable. Also, I will probably need to buy a second table at some point.  Any thoughts on the white petal table vs. teak vs. square table and bertoia vs. blu dot chairs?  Thanks!

"Heard they were uncomfortable" ?
Heh-heh.  Not good enough.  No one, I feel, should buy a chair without having tried it out -- at whatever inconvenience.
Your house is lovely.  I love the Petal Table.

Thank you for your advice, sdr.  And thanks for the compliments on the house...it has been a long project restoring/remodeling it.  Do you think white?   Since there is so much intense sun here, I'm worried about how the teak would hold up.
I do have the bertoia lounge chair and dont find it uncomfortable...maybe I will just get two smaller bertoia chairs with the yellow pads.

Maybe the intense sun will blind you when it bounces off the white table ?  I like white.
Unfinished teak will weather to gray, eventually.  You can oil it to keep the gray away -- if you like.
I don't know if or how the teak Petal Table is finished . . .
