Anyone here living in the LA area and have been to this monthly event? I live in the SF area and was considering driving down for a weekend to go to this flea market. I'd love to drive back with a nice Danish modern sofa and coffee table and I hear there's lots of Danish and mid century modern stuff there. I would like to know if it's worth a trip for me. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Please dont go to a flea market once and expect to find exactly what you want... in one shot...its a process...that flea market can be a gold mine...

Rose Bowl
I have been to the Rose Bowl flea one time and it was huge, but I wouldn't expect to find exactly what you want the first time going. Are you still looking for a sofa or for another one? There will be a show in SF in December that has some good stuff(see link) and have you been to Alameda on the months first Sunday?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking for a sofa to fill up my new apt, not another one. I can't wait til December for the SF show and I have been to the Alameda show 3 times, the mid century stuff there is not great and there's only maybe 5 dealers total that specialize in that style.
