I am doing this partly for a chuckle. And I have checked that I am not hijacking a thread that Spanky or someone else has already started. In fact, the entire subject of design in the bathroom has been sorely neglected by this forum. It is time for me to leap into the breach (hehe). This is a toilet paper holder. I call this piece of work Outhouse deco. I ran accross this and think it is completely excessive, decadent, over the top and hilarious. It is also kind of great.

ScanDesign, I remember that brass toilet paper holder from the 70s!  Turn-of-the-century golden oak furniture and Victorian decor was very popular then and there was a company called Renovation Hardware (not to be confused with the hideous Restoration Hardware) that sold reproduction stuff like that.  I don't know if the TP holder was something they designed or if it really was something from that era.
Here's one for Aunt Mark!

Lovely snappy, spanky!
Gosh, I was so busy examining the arch on the dude's eyebrows (in the luxurious soaking tub), and didn't notice the blown bubbles in the foreground...not to mention all of that plumbing attached to smooth toungue and groove... oh.  Thanks twice.
Hi,

Oh, I got bubbles -- but you have a gold heart-shaped tub -- in the pinkest bathroom ever !
Green with envy . . .

My ideal bathroom is 100% waterproof materials and has a floor drain and an attractive garden hose on an attractive wall hook.  All one has to do to clean is to stash the towels and toilet paper and then blast every surface with the hose.  Maybe a little scrubbing here and there with a long-handled brush while one stands daintily in the doorway.
So far this dream has not materialized, but I hold out hope.

I once used a guest bathroom in a neighborhood home that had 2 bidets (side by side).  I thought that it was ___________, and could chip a tooth.

yup,

Late to the fun as usual.
tktoo - the more I think about that sticker, the funnier it gets. I want a whole roll of stickers for my guest bathroom.
Spanky - Really? 70's? I bet Renovation Hardware's catalogue was a hoot.
Ah, Aunt Mark, side by side bidets, yes. Imagine the possibilities for an army base. 20 bidets in two militarily straight rows, FACING each other.
