I have a 48in original nelson bench top only and trying to decide what to do with it. I am not looking to sell but to have something in my home that I appreciate. I have been looking for specs on the original legs, I prefer the ebonized legs. I am looking for pictures of how they are attached to the bench and materials used? Or is there a place that makes the legs? I have been searching and haven't found anyone who sells just the legs. The maple top has not been refinished and has a few discolorations, I am looking for the best way to keep the original color but to clean it up. Suggestions?
Thanks!
Mark

I know there are a few thread...
I know there are a few threads discussing the construction method as well as cleaning while maintaining patina. If you do a google search for "site:designaddict.com nelson bench" (without quotes) it should bring up at least two pages of good results.
As for sourcing the legs, I've seen some pop up on ebay every once in awhile. If you DIY it shouldn't be to hard to make some yourself if you can get ahold of a bench to use as a template.
