I've recently acquired an oval (78") original Saarinen oval dining table in white laminate. It's in pretty good shape considering it's from the 60's - there's some scuffing around the edge from the chairs knocking into it and the paint on the base is peeling but the original Knoll sticker is still in place. The top and base have no scratches or marks.
Unfortunately it's too big for my space. I rarely see vintage Oval tulip tables - does this mean that they are rare and valuable or is it more the case that people want the round ones and not the oval? Any thoughts would be appreciated on the best method to find a new home for this item!
