I have this uniquely shaped coffee table in solid plank oak.

Very unusual but completely void of any markings
Have you ever seen it?

Roughly
63 inch L x 32 inch W x 19½ inch H
160cm X 82cm x 50cm

Nice top and basic construction
but the legs are dorky, so I doubt it was designed by anyone important.

heres the real
quirky issue
I have the same table again in solid teak!
so unless it was a knock up by an employee in spare time it would be unusual to have 2 identical table in 2 different woods.
They also bear the marks of having been placed in machine jigs so have been made in a workshop.

Maybe
Maybe a shop dealing in traditional furniture decided to make a go at the Modern/Scandinavian market? The legs look so....standard boring.

I have
no objection to the perfectly straightforward legs. Does the teak table have EXACTLY the same top shape, Simon ? What is the nature of the machine marks ?

Simon
Is the oak one brand new? In my initial post I meant that they were both vintage pieces...sort of like Lane Furniture did the Boomerang series in the 60s & 70s while simultaneously producing traditional/faux antiques.
The legs just don't seem resolved or balanced with the top.
