Not Eames but similar. Anyone know the designer?

The mounting of the chair legs to the fiberglass shell is different than any Eames chairs that I've seen and actually seems to be better. I have two of these from the 50s era and would love to know the designer.

Mybe Luther Conover...shell looks the same but the legs look different to the ones I have seen...

I'm pretty sure they're not Chromcraft as they would have basically that same type of mounting as Eames. As for the other, that didn't come up with any match either.
