In all fairness, I do admit to being JUST A BIT hypersensitive sometimes.
When you put it that way though, I do see what you are getting at.
For Danes, awareness and refinement of a long history of woodworking approaches is completely fused with every aspect and detail of a design conception.
Aside from whatever feelings you might have about design in the US, I am just trying to say I did not miss your original point. It is a valid one.
I like that you felt so strongly that the two approaches were so totally different, even though the superficial aspects (clean lines) might be similar to a casual participant.
Whole different universes. And that is good for a new collector to be aware of.
