Does somebody have an idea who designed this nice daybed/recamier?
Frame is made of teak, unfortunately no label or brand, located in Germany.
Thanks a lot.

Hi bj, many thanks for your suggestion, I googled Knoll, saw a side chair by Jens Risom with similar woven backrest, googled Jens Risom daybed and bingo I've got it!
Thanks a lot bj!

Very cool
Had not seen this one before. Is it marked Risom or Knoll?

Jens Risom daybed
I have the same daybed but mine is in beech. I was told it was originally purchased in Germany. I have found an example that attributes it to Jens Risom for Walter Knoll. I contacted Walter Knoll and they said the following:
"Thank you for your e-mail - and our congratulations for your purchase of this Walter Knoll daybed.
As to its origin, we think that the design was developed out of the Vostra chair design which
- as you assumed - was by Jens Risom. The design of this daybed, however, was then stated under
general "Walter Knoll" design".
So it would appear that it is based on a design by Jens Risom.
Cheers,
Tick.
P.S. I have put a link to my original DA post from 2012.

As I suggested,
Walter Knoll 😉
These german knoll designs and productions are often dubiously attributed too it's american brother/sister.

Just lovely.
I do prefer tick's 3 cushion version, opposed to Ruby's single cushion version...but I suppose that a daybed should have a simple single bottom cushion.
Divine indeed,
Aunt Mark
