Here are some new photos as requested. Like mentioned before, the chair definitely has some wear on it - discoloration, seams are coming apart in areas etc. Its been a well used chair, but I'm considering getting it reupholstered?
As you can see, it doesn't have a cushion which I'm told makes it an older original?
I also included a manufacturer's sticker from Fritz Hansen, that appears on the base. There is a number: 0363.
What is that referring to?
I'd really like to determine its value and if it makes sense to get it recovered or is it more valuable in its original condition?
Welcoming all comments!
Thanks!

Mike, the number means March 1963. I see what you mean about the condition, however, as someone mentioned on the previous thread - restoring and recovering an Egg chair isn't for the fainthearted and will cost a lot. You could try cleaning it first of all to see if that makes any difference? Is the foam dry?
Great, thank-you.

Great, thank-you.
The foam is dry.
I actually found a true craftsman here locally, that has done a few Egg Chairs and he walked me through the process yesterday. Sounds pretty involved and expensive, but I think it'll be worth it. Would it lose its value having been reupholstered? Because I definitely want to have it as a functioning piece.
Thanks again for all the info and advice!

I think in this case it would actually increase in value Mike. A chair with saggy/dirty fabric and dry foam would only really be desirable as a project so if your man can do a decent job I say go for it. Stick to something like a dark brown or a black leather and you won't go far wrong IMO. Good luck and post some pics when it is finished!
Oh, MikeB
I am so jealous. I was shopping for beds today in a store called Pfister and they have started carrying current stuff from Fritz Hansen. The egg in leather is 12,883 CHF and in wool it is 6,883 CHF. The swan in wool is 3888 CHF. Ant chairs are 483 in a color stained ash and 683 for rosewood.
You have quite a treasure there. Please take it to a professional.
P.S. The Swiss Franc is about 90 cents to the US dollar.
