Finally got around to writing up Arthur Umanoff's Grenada Collection, so now we can stop calling it Salterini...

Thanks
First. Thanks for posting this information along with the photos.
So this design line was only produced and expanded upon from 64 - 1970?
Thanks

After 1970
After 1970 Shaver Howard concentrated more on marketing their wine racks and expanding that line, as best I can discern at this juncture in my research the wrought iron furniture lines were pretty much abandoned after 1970.

Wine Racks
Yes, Arthur Umanoff designed the wine racks.
Arthur Umanoff was the sole designer for Shaver Howard from 1954 until 1975 (and possibly later than that but my research shows nothing conclusive after '75)

Do you find it strange
Hello
Do you find it strange that umanoff abandoned furniture design to focus mainly on wine racks? Seems a bit odd.
Your thoughts?
Always. Thanks.

Who Abandoned Furniture design?
Umanoff did not abandon furniture design, Shaver Howard abandoned selling furniture in favor of Wine Racks, Serving Carts and Etageres.
Arthur Umanoff continued to design furniture just not with Shaver Howard.
Here's a partial list of the companies Umanoff designed furniture for in the 70's and 80's:
Moreddi
Directional
Thonet
Dillingham
Rouse/Jackson
David Morgan
Contemporary Shells

Fellow Design Addicts
I have 3 of the slat seat cane back Raymor chairs. 2 Qs: does it matter much in value terms if some of the feet are missing? Does anyone know of a source of replacement feet?
Thanx,
Malabar
