Hi all - I didnt have much luck searching the archives so I'll ask up front:

Does anyone know of a source of vintage/new production hardware for a Nelson chest of drawers? The style is similar to Case Study - with hairpin legs. The pulls are a softened "M" shape, made out of stainless.

A friend thought he knew of someone in Canada producing things like this, but couldnt remember their name.

Flickr link below. Thanks in advance!

my suggestion... knowing ho...
my suggestion... knowing how you feel about reproductions, and how it would be ripping off George Nelsons original designs to reproduce these pulls and would not only dimish the price of your original piece of furniture by putting fakey reproduced pulls made up by someone other than Herman Miller or autherized by the Nelson estate is keep looking on ebaY or contact Vitra , I have seen full sets just like the picture pop up from time to time .
but they are unbelivable expensive cause the people who sell them know they are valuable and are going on original furnitue. I know you will feel better not owning a reproduced pull.

fabricate
if you have one already, take it to a metal shop and have them bend some for you. it is such a simple piece- it may be quite reasonable.

Hrrrm...
I'm looking for a friend of mine. I know that she would probably prefer an original, but she's been looking for years now. At some point I guess she may have to settle on a repro handle until she finds a vintage one.
