Yes glass doors were an option. I visited a retired Herman Miller executives house and he had the most amazing CSS collection I have ever seen. In his office he had several units with glass sliding doors.

The glass doors
are not shown in the brochure checklist I have, so possibily, it was special order part not readily available as part of the basic options, like the 48" wide shelves.

I just found a picture with one with glass doors. I have a CSS set that I got at auction in pieces and I can not figure out how to put it all together the shelves are no problem the drawers no problem but I have alot of cupboard doors partical board and glass that I do not know how they connect. I must use the shelves with them or somthing
Also does anyone know what goes on top of the stacking shelves there must be a top to them that I don't have
