I came by this in a local shop, a corner table (it seems) made by Fredericia, designed by Mogensen.
The top is framed, middle piece being veneered particleboard (I assume). It had two dents (1,5 cm long each, rather large)
like somethings corner made contact and pressed the veneer into the particle board. The veneer is still present.
I like the quality of the wood, it's got that deep hue wich danish teak pieces often have.
But they ask something around 100 dollar (80 euro), I'm not to familiar with fredericia, there's the damage and there was probably a matching smaller table to slide under (gone).
Can someone shed some light on this one, give some advice on value for money and if these dents are reparable?
Another month and I'm back in the woodshop (3d year class), would it be silly to make the matching table myself or would this be an easy to find piece?
