Need a recommendation for Hardwood Flooring  

The other day, I was in crate and barrel, and noticed they had the exact same hardwood flooring as the Barnie's Coffee shop I live near, only slightly lighter. It is thin plank, and some form of lighter wood, with little visible grain. I liked it so much, I asked one of the employees whether or not they knew what it was, and they had absolutely no idea, but they did speculate that it may not even be real hard wood :(. Whatever it is, I want to use it for the main flooring throughout our soon to be home,(provided it is real) and was hoping you design experts could figure it out.

Also...If you do know what kind it is, where would you recommend I buy it for the best price?
