Calling all Design Addicts out there...
We have two beautiful Eames white plastic DSR Eiffel chairs, AKA Eiffel chairs - here's a picture: http://www.dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=6455 .
Does anyone out there have a good suggestion for a comfortable and simple seating cushion. It should be not to thick, solid and generally shouldn't distract from the chair's beautiful shape. Something like the pads on the Saarinen Tulip chair maybe?
I found out that Vitra actually offers felt cushions in different colors for the chair, but I have not seen any pictures of these.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
DSR pads?
I must say that I've never seen or heard of pads for the DSR from Vitra. I know that they offer it on the DAR armchair but not on the side chair. Also in my Catalog and pricelist 2006 from Vitra I can't find anything about them. Are you sure that you got the correct info on that? If you are, that would be great news for some of my friends who have been asking about them.

Tilanus,

If you click on "Accessory", a pop-up lets you choose between several felt cushions. Choose a color, click "continue", and you'll see that they are (allegedly) by Vitra.
The thing is - no other website lists them (including Vitra's), you cannot find them in Vitra's catalog, nobody has ever heard of them, and there are no pictures. Sounds a little dodgy to me.
Any other suggestions for pads?
