No
No idea what it is, but I really like it..
(apart from the white end caps to the legs, looks like it would sit better on something larger in black ?)

Hi
I first thought Robin Day or Ernest Race, but the feet look all wrong.
Is it possible for you to photgraph the page from the book?
I don't have a copy

That is a very nice...
That is a very nice chair!
I would also say Robin Day, but I'm not sure. I also think the white feet look out of place... Probably not original (at least I hope not).

I
I would expect a Robin Day chair of that period to have flat, circular 'Armstrong' glides....
But, yes, they may have been changed ..still a nice chair

i thought Gustavo...
i thought Gustavo Finall(sp) but Robin Day also did interesting seat backs.
it is a nice chair. and vintage with new feet. i'm stumped. many italians played
with the same form in the 90's. same arm design but not the same seat back...
i'd like to know.

not exactly the same...
It's not exactly the same but it's pretty darn close. I don't know if there's any comprehensive reference of his work but I'd check Alvin Lustig for Paramount Furniture. This also might be what someone earlier was talking about when they mentioned the George Nelson Chairs book

similar sofa
mmm, I think I saw something similar recently. It was a sofa, however. That one said
Designer: Rudolf Wolf
Producer: Elsrijk
I agree with Nick's point of view, it sort of looks Dutch- inspired. I'd like to ask: where are you situated ?
