First post - sorry 🙂

Picked up a seemingly Mid-Cent modern lounge chair for cheap at a 2nd hand place here in Seattle.

No markings on it at all except 'Ruba' on the zippers which is Turkish company, according to Google, and made zippers from 1963 on.

Smells old, and it's well worn but still is in decent condition - missing a couple buttons.
The leather seems quite nice.
The arm rests are suspended with no interior support, which I found unique although I, admittedly, don't know a whole lot about furniture.

Also a lot of seemingly complex wrapped rope threaded through the back support and into the back fabric & attached to the cushions.

I'd love to know more . . .

thank you
Wow, that was fast.
Thank you so much.
Any way to tell if it's legitimate?
Disappointed that I didn't find the footstool!

I had the armless version with footstool,
many moons ago. After several months of use, the canvas finally gave, so I got rid of it.
Looks like your canvas is beginning to tear(?). Watch it-- once these go, they REALLY go! The only solution I could suggest is having a new grommetted canvas piece made from the old pattern (an upholsterer could easily fabricate one, or DIY if you can sew).
