Have a lamp in distress that is missing three shades, any info as to where one could find these threaded globes would be appreciated.

hmm, let's see..
I think you may have had no replies yet, because you are not giving us a lot of information (title is a bit unclear as well).
(1) Well, your best bet is always to contact the original manufacturer who made the lamp, and ask for spare parts. Design companies often provide this service to their customers, even if do they not advertise it widely. Do you know who made the lamp ? Did you originally buy it yrself, or is it a vintage lamp ?
a - If it is a vintage lamp, and you have no clue what it is, put up an ID request here.
b - If you know the store you bought from ask them/ or contact manufacturer directly.
(2) If (1) does not work, try to get a similar replacement piece from a different brand. However, you did not mention the size of the bulb/ and size of the opening. You also did not mention where you are geographically. If you need a bulb of approx. 8 cm tall, about 2 cm opening, I got such a replacement from Habitat UK - the Antwerp store- (they use it for the Concord lamp). You have to ask for it at the customer desk. However, they are discontinuing this lamp design, I fear, so I have no idea how long they will stock the replacement parts.
(3) If none of the above work, put an add in the radar for replacement parts- just be more clear what dimensions you need/ what country you are in etc.
Hope any of this helps !

Thanks ite for the information,I was hoping that someone may recognize the lamp from the photo.I live Toronto Canada the lamp was made in Switzerland in the 1960's and the only names I've been able to come up with are Max Bill,Kaiser Leuchten and Sonneman,Metropolis Modern and 1stdibs have had the same or similar lamp under those names. The Globes are that of satin glass approx.48cm in diameter with a 4cm threaded opening.
I found a floor lamp with the same globes here in Toronto (Max Bill)but the cost of the lamp was way too much for me to buy, only then to start all over again to find shades for the lamp I just cannibalized.
I appreciate your help.

Ay, unfortunately I am not able to help you, I don't recognise the lamp at all. Looks very sixties to me.
