I have a Plycraft Eames replica chair that I am in the process of reupholstering and refinishing.

I have run into a slight snag trying to get replacement glides for the chair and ottoman base.

When I purchased the chair, it came with one threaded glide from the original chair. I have added a link to the pictures below of the original glide next to a measuring tape for anyone's ready review.

I have been unable to find replacement glides. I tried Swivel Chair Parts, but they do not have the proper size.

Can anyone help identify the size of this glide, and where I would be able to order replacements?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like OTS
Looks like an old Off-The-Shelf type glide. Bring one into your hardware store and they should be able to match the thread thickness, and find a suitable replacement.

Hardware store
I live in North Jersey/Metro NYC. Would you be able to recommend a hardware store? I am pretty sure the Home Depot's around here won't carry them. But you never know...

Any ACE or True Value
Any ACE or True Value hardware store should have them. Even Home Depot probably will - altho your expectations of good knowledgeable customer service decline exponentially when you set foot in that place.

Try Hafele
They may have more than your local hardware store
Search under furniture and cabinet levelers.
Good luck! -Matt

type in your zip
on Graingers main page.
Must be a branch near you.
They are everywhere. They never seem to mind searching for
that one specific thing no matter how small or cheap.
(you may not know how to convey exact thread by phone)
If you know what you want, McMaster-Carr will have it to you by 10am
the next day. I use them all the time.
