I recently purchase a high back soft pad eames chair with a broken base swivel hub. I was quoted at $300 for the repair by a local shop here in Los Angeles. Anyone else have any ideas on how I could fix this myself? 300 seems pretty extreme for this kind of fix but maybe it's par for the course.
