I have a George Nelson 30.25" diameter sunburst/starburst (the one with the multicolored spikes) model 2230. I'ts a direct wall plug-in and I am in need of a electric chronopak for this clock. Does anyone have one they're willing to sell or know where I could buy one from? This was my grandparents clock and it would mean the world to me to get this clock hung up in my home. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Not quite right
I checked out that link, thank you very much as i have the exact same issue however.........Its the closest I've seen as the support hook on the receptacle looks as if it may line up with the hole on the back of my starburst but the outlet prongs would need to be rotated 90 degrees. I tried a similar receptacle with the thought of turning the outlet 90, but that would make the receptacle to wide to fit into the electrical box in wall. I'm left thinking I need to rotate the prongs on the back of my clock but really really hate to change a rare original.

Don't change the clock. ...
Don't change the clock. Change the outlet.
A: look for clock hanger outlets that are square such that you could take the outlet off the bracket and re-orient 90 degrees. I bet such a thing exists.
B: get the clock hanger receptacle. keep the wall plate and set aside the outlet. get a female plug and a few inches of electrical cord. turn off the electricity. attach plug to cord to electrical wire in wall. wrap everything in electrical tape. attach wall plate and plug in clock. When you move away, make sure you replace the proper receptacle so the home inspector doesn't throw a fit.

Thank you
I greatly appreciate your advise, my hubby used to be a general contract so he's really handy, we'll just have to DIY it for now, probably with option b for a temporary fix as we haven't yet been able to find an outlet with a narrow enough back so that it can be rotated, adding to the complexity is finding one without a ground. Still hoping someone may have one that they are willing to sell. Thanks again for your time & advice!!

Does the clock have a ground...
Does the clock have a ground prong? (It would be the 3rd, round, prong). I would be surprised to hear that it does. And if it doesn't have a ground prong it doesn't need grounding.
