To update FDR, the only climate we have to fear, is
the climate of fear itself.

Turns out planet biomass is doing its thing: its
increasing and consuming the excess CO2 levels
everyone has been worrying about without so much as a
single subsidy.

We don't need to start a green revolution. It is
already started without us.

To paraphrase green architect Will McDonough, waste is
food...especially if you really like your green veggies.

Let me guess, the next great threat will be that the
planet is getting too green!

Excess decaying plant matter will trigger too much
methane. Scientists will be found to cry wolf about
it. Politicians will fear monger with it to create
legislation that gives them yet another financial
hustle. Then something in the environment will begin
consuming the methane.--like humans harvesting it for
energy.

Irony of ironies--global warming triggers a renewable source of methane everywhere AND warms the climate sufficiently that we need to generate less heat in the continental climates and so can afford to generate more AC in the equatorial regions.

Will we find that the alleged threat of high CO2
levels proves as big of a hoax as human driven global
warming? Um, all the planets measured in the solar system are evidencing global warming...and no humans even live on them.

Bush demonized evil doers so he could open the treasury to his cronies. No WMD in Iraq. Just lies about it. But his cronies are now enriched beyond imagining.

Gore demonized CO2, then got in carbon tax credit
biz with a brokerage firm--what a surprise.

Can a green President demonizing CO2 and opening the treasury to his cronies be far in our future.

Does the central bank centric oligarchy want a global
carbon tax to insinuate global taxation necessary for
global government?

Does government look endlessly for new ways to tax people?

"If you try to walk, I'll tax your feet,
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat.
If you try to drive, I'll tax your street.
Cause I'm the Taxman,
Yeah, yeah, I'm the Taxmn..."
--Beatles

Is big government the ultimate welfare state for the rich members of the oligarchy that control big government?

Are honest greens getting used now the way honest moral majority people got used the last ten years?

Bet on it.

.
"Unlike the many scientists who welcome CO2 for its benefits, many other scientists and most governments believe carbon dioxide to be a dangerous pollutant that must be removed from the atmosphere at all costs. Governments around the world are now enacting massive programs in an effort to remove as much as 80% of the carbon dioxide emissions from the atmosphere.
If these governments are right, they will have done us all a service. If they are wrong, the service could be all ill, with food production dropping world wide, and the countless ecological niches on which living creatures depend stressed."
So, the whole thing is unclear ?
"Is big government the ultimate welfare state for the rich members of the oligarchy that control big government?"
Well, there's no doubt about THAT, anyway !

Bleeding Green
Honest greens and Moral Majority... I see the parallel your making, but I don't think it'll be the same outcome. Going green makes for good business. That's why Porn has lasted as long as it has regardless of Moral Majority. While we're at it, let us not forget the "war on drugs" or the business of War.
Some people are going to get shafted in the end. It sucks, but it happens with any emerging market...it did not so long ago with dot commers. In the end, it was a kind of entrepreneurial Darwinism. A legacy of which we now benefit from.
Look at investers clinging onto gas futures, breaking new records and a world of headaches. Why can't those same investors funnel money towards green energy movements? I'm perplexed!
Do I make any sense
