Sometimes...
the initial narrow scope of a desk leads to a somewhat wider view of the world. It can also lead to an even narrower view and we could concentrate on the different qualities of steel and how they affect the radii of the bending and the possibility to chrome plate the bend when it is over stretched. We would even look into the very nature of that over-stretched surface and try to understand why it is in fact difficult to chrome plate. To either narrow or enlarge te scope of ones understanding is one of the many joys of being what we are. In reading dcwilson's elaborate description on the two and three dimensional structure of writing I learned a few new things about design, and that's what this forum is all about.
