Mysterious 60/70s leather swivel lounge chair, anyone recognise it please.
Its fabulous quality, zipped all round, beautifully finished and extremley heavy....puts me in mind of French/Italian style, no markings on base.
regards Gary

Looks very like the one for sale on uk ebay at the moment under seller ID: dad-design-home
Have no problem with dealers getting IDs but I wish they would admit when they are.

Perhaps
there should be a whole separate forum devoted to the "search for keywords in the interest of profit alone".

Hi, that's right...I placed it on sale tonight, why do seem to have a problem with that... I've been coming on this forum for nearly 10 years, and my site is on the vintage dealers link page....I've helped identify numerous things for forum users in the past whether they're dealers or punters.. Is that ok with you.
Gary

sure
Gary & Fran,
All the posts I found with a google search was you asking to identify various POS. As you are so very helpful perhaps you could help yourself by doing your own homework.

I dont have a problem at all ...
I dont have a problem at all Gary if you state that when asking in your description. But you didnt and ive noticed recently a lot of the ID threads of yours have since appeared on ebay, Particulary the Eames Zenith chair with the raised dots after several people helped you to ID the production of the chair etc. What I strongly dislike is people seeking IDs as a way of bumping up their profits and using this as a free resource to do so.

false
gary & fran
It only took a moment to prove your statement "I've helped identify numerous things for forum users in the past" false.
I do not think you are greedy, rather I believe you are lazy.

by the way
by the way, apart from this controversy, I can't believe that no one knows who is the designer of that chair.
Or maybe the person who knows something about prefers to remain silent in order to 'punish' Gery? In my opinion the issue is not Gary, or his profession, or the reason for his presence in the forum, but the chair; and all those who love beautiful objects should help.
