First I apologize because I asked for information about these lamps about 6 months earlier and received a couple leads.
I found I was not asking the right questions.

These lamps are stamped MSLC 4322 on the bottom.
I learned it stands for Mutual Sunset Lamp Company.

Question? What do the numbers mean? Are they sequential or random or somehow indicate the year produced?

Also, the lamps may be the work of Gilbert Rohde. How can I confirm/deny this?

Are their other known designers from MSLC that the design could be attributed?

Thank You!

Green Alabaster Lamp- stamped M.S.L.C. Info needed please.
I own this Vintage / Antique, Green Alabaster Table Lamp?.. It's a M.S.L.C. (stamped) lamp (#3682) and we believe designed by American Gilbert Rohde -- I would like to know how to confirm the designer. It is beautiful Green Alabaster on an green alabaster square attached to a brass base with ball feet. Wiring and plug appear to be original and in good condition. The sockets are original and only one of them works, the other has a stuck pull chain as of a week ago. The sockets that hold bulbs swivel to other angles. I have also learned from a source that in the late 20?s and 30's, Gilbert Rohde designed over 35 different lamps for the Mutual Sunset Lamp Co., Brooklyn NY. This beautiful lamp has decorative brass handles on each side. They appear to be inverted feathers. The top portion is adjustable for height by about 2" using the clever thumbscrew design. Perhaps at one time it had a glass shade or slag. I bought it without a shade and we have used it for over 25 years with a lovely standard lampshade on it. It has the original finial at the top.
Dimensions:
Base: Height to top of finial = 23.5" adjustable to 25.5: Base = 3.5" square Alabaster width 3" widest part.
Sockets spread 5".
