I have two sets of mollers to upholster or cord, and hope you can help me. I want to use a mesh to replace the hessian/jute webbing on the upholstered chairs. Any one know where to buy it? I don't know the official name, and can't find anything by googling.
Second question. My 75s are corded, and I would like to replace the cord with leather. Should I remove the right angled pieces of wood on the front legs that fill in the cord gap, or will the mesh, foam and leather just cover these without trace? Or is it just wrong to change the originality, and should I stick with cord?
Many thanks

I don't know where to get that mesh
either, but if anyone knows I hope they will post a link!
I think it would be ok to use a heavyweight burlap stretched tight and stapled securely. The heaviest weight is more tightly woven than the cheap stuff and is usually what the Danes used, I think. I mean in upholstery in general, when they used burlap at all.
This thread below is a discussion about upholstering seats that were originally woven with paper cord. It might be helpful to you.
