Modernica bar stools...Are they actually Eames shells or copies?

Shell is a reproduction. Base is a contemporary design. That style base was never designed by Eames or made by Herman Miller.

The only person worth consulting (at least in Europe)on questions of authenticity is Graham Mancha who is not only a highly gifted restorer of most things Eames but is generous with his knowlege and is exceeding reasonable as a vendor of Eames spares (and products and books on post war design).
One of the godfather's of the modernist revival in the UK his website and contact details can be found by simply searching his name on Google.

Whilst Graham mancha knows his stuff, to say he is the only person in Europe qualified to answer this post is totally ludicrous.
Anyone with even a tiny working knowledge of the output of Charles & Ray Eames (myself included) would know these bar stools have nothing to do with them.
If it was an advert for the man, you do both him a disservice, and woodywood who answered the initial question accurately and succinctly.
