Scholten and Baijings bed linen for Hay?
I personally don't like this stuff (reminds me too much of cheap 80s duvet covers), but I'm told it's very "now". I DO like the Megadot and Babydot quilts by Hay though.

I have seen some nice stuff...
I have seen some nice stuff a cb2.com which is crate and barrels modern offshoot. It's kina hit or miss. Sometimes I really like what they have and sometimes not. Their stock changes fairly frequently and the really nice designs seem to sell pretty quickly too.
I also think that one pic looks like some really bad 80s bed linens. I don't care if it is the 'in' thing right now. I would never put it on bed.
DWR linens
Thanks to the one posting for DWR bed linens.
Recently visited the new studio in Costa Mesa California found a nice neutral colored cotton/linen duvet cover for $430.. expensive.
DWR has nice throws and decorative linens pillows but again at 225 per pillow it's steep, an entire ensemble will run $1,200. Yikes!
linens
You wouldnt think Restoration Hardware would have modern linens, but I think their linens work perfectly for mcm styles. The colors are muted, which I like, and look great on my new walnut bed from dwr. I searched all over the place for good quality linens that would work and bought my first set at RH on sale. I liked them so much, I went back and got a second set and a quilt/duvet. I have a pale grey with the matching quilt (which is one or two shades darker) and a grey-blue set also. I have the 464 count sets. I didnt know they had a 600 count set, but I see they do. The sheets are made in Italy, and I have washed them upteems of times (I love clean sheets) and they are holding up great. Also, they have 20% sales regularly.
The link doesnt do it justice. I think their bedding is more an industrial modern look than the pics show.

Modern linen leads...
Hey, Rockybird,
Thanks for sharing your experience with Restoration Hardwares bed linens.
Yes, I have visited the store and I agree the muted tones are very subtle and attractive and really nice compared to the usual department store offerings.
I almost purchased a down blanket from RH until I read several bad reviews concerning orders and poor customer service.
Given that I have had more than my share in dealing with companies & their lousy CS, and with disputed charges & dishonesty I did not want to risk ordering from RH after reading numerous bad reviews.
However, I am glad to hear your experience was a positive one.
Thanks!
Posting pics
Hi Zen,
I can't take any credit for the picture itself, which I "borrowed" from the Hay website (not strictly legal, but I'm hoping they'll turn a blind eye, as I'm recommending their product). I can't tell you how to post pics on other fora that you may contribute to, either! However, I CAN point you towards the instructions for posting pics on this site, and they're here..

Buyer beware... a linen purchase.
A word of caution when buying from an independently owned company.
Everett Stuntz in La Jolla are crooks hiding behind a fancy facade.
I purchase a down blanket from them which was not properly tagged by law, all linens must include information pertaining to the contents, etc. I spoke to the Consumers Affairs department who verified as such. Otherwise it it unlawful to sell the products.
The owner of Everett Stuntz sold me a down blanket w/out the proper tags plus the blanket smelled of fragrance when I laid it on my bed, however they claim it had not left the store, and no returns accepted. I doubt that, the packaging also appeared worn & old.
I informed the owner I was very dissatisfied with the merchandise I bought and explained the issue regarding the selling of merchandise without the proper tags and that it was unlawful according to the department of consumers affairs. Apparently that got her attention as she quickly motioned to her employee to credit my account - which must be code for- don't do it.
The actual receipt said, "cash given" indicating no refund and certainly not to my credit card. I repeatedly questioned the employee why the receipt did not show a refund, her response: it's just the way our machine does it.
My Visa credit card company generated a letter requesting the refund with a 15 day response period. No RESPONSE! Great, they've got the merchandise & my money! Nicole, the owner at Everett Stuntz in La Jolla never replied so I won by default.
The owner ignored all responsibility knowing she was wrong, it took her bank to reimburse the charges is what the dispute rep told me.
Word of caution: a company can represent themselves as upstanding within a community, etc, but listen to your instincts - some are unscrupulous.
My two cents.
thanks
