is actually the german word 🙂
the manufacturer would be "Ilse Möbel" from the town of Uslar.
enclosed is a poster and a link to a '59 catalogue which proofs that they had a "let's please everyone" approach to design at the time.
Shelfs like yours pop up on german ebay every now and then and cost between 50 and 300?...
