I just replaced my Henry-Dreyfuss-Assoc.-designed gold-tone Honeywell thermostat with an anonymous new one. I hate to throw away the Honeywell, but I'll never display it. So if any DA wants to add it to her/his collection, just let me know, and I'll mail it. It appears to have been made before 1961. Seems to work fine, but I'd rate it "for exhibit only."

I'd like to have it.
I love the Dreyfuss Honeywell thermostats. I'd love to have it to replace my anonymous one. I wouldn't even call it an iconic design... Like Dreyfuss' model 500 telephone design, the styling of a practical object is subtle but beautiful and, in that, rather revolutionary.

*I wouldn't call it a 'minor' iconic design.
