Milo Baughman chairs??  

I've had this pair of chairs since I was a student in Sydney in 2002.
I found them on the side of the road. They are in great condition, but were always missing the seat and back cushions so I used crappy pillows for awhile (see pictures).
I shipped them to L.A. with me and now have them in storage.
I've always thought they might be Milo Baughman's but can't find anything that matches this exact design.
They have his heavy chromed flat bar and 'hover' off their base like his floating chairs. They also have beautifully made and upholstered bent plywood construction.
Can anyone help? I'm planning on getting them recovered and new cushions made. I'd like to know if it's really worth going to town on them to keep them as original as possible.
