why dont you send Thayer Coggin an email? Unlike many pieces that show up on here made by legends of the past, TC still exists, and is making furniture. I hear they are receptive to helping if you ask nicely.
I also have a Milo piece that was made by TC, which I have been meaning to contact them about, but in my case I am quite sure of the authenticity of mine because they are still making the model of chair that I have, and I have compared it to recent production. Good luck.
