I have the opportunity to purchase a recent Mies van der Rohe daybed for a rather good price, however currently I live in an apartment and have limited storage capacity. Given that the price asked is too good to pass, would it be possible to remove the legs so that I would be able to store it in the small space I have available?
I tried searching for myself, unfortunately nothing that shows me how the legs are connected to the wooden frame.
Design Within Reach has a photo of the underside but it's not clear whether the legs are attached with screws or with bolts. If they are bolts, it looks like you'd have to remove material to get at the nuts.

Edit: OOPS, wrong--this photo clearly shows the top of the frame without the cushion, and whatever the fasteners are on the legs, they do not go all the way through the frame:
